Fallout fansite Duck and Cover has confirmed that a settlement has finally been reached in the very long and messy legal battle between Interplay and Bethesda over the Fallout Online MMOG that has been waged since 2009. The details of the settlement should be revealed sometime this month.

For now, it’s unclear what kind of accord has been reached. Interplay was already in financial trouble early last year facing possible bankruptcy, so whether they will continue work on Fallout Online or if perhaps another agreement has been reached with Bethesda is still unknown. Stay tuned and we’ll update you with new details s they become available.
