If you were one of the few to receive an invitation from BioWare to take part in this weekend’s Star Wars: The Old Republic beta event, you may also be one of the small number of players that have run into an issue with accepting your invitation to allow downloading of the game's client. BioWare posted a list of things for players experiencing problems to try last night, but those didn’t seem to work out. Luckily, BioWare’s Senior Community Manager Stephen Reid has an update on the issue that some players are experiencing.

Hello all,

We've investigated this issue further overnight, and I've got an update for you. It looks like a small number of people got stuck in a unhelpful state within our database. That means the problem's on our side, not yours, so don't worry about trying different browsers or similar to fix it yourself.

Our DB team is tracking down the affected accounts and should roll out a fix later today. When that happens, you'll be able to accept the invite. We'll update this thread when the fix is applied. Thanks for your patience while we resolve this!
