Blade & Soul, one of the most anticipated MMO releases here in the west for awhile, is finally live in North America. If you're still reading this and not downloading it, then I mean, you obviously need the link in order to go snag it. While this isn't our official review, I can speak to the fact that the game is very fun and engaging, with lots to do and see. It's sort of a mix between wushu style games and regular MMOs, blinding in things such as acrobatic movement and fluid combat, with more traditional mechanics. Lacking tab-targeting, it's very action based, and with a limited skill set (that you can heavily manipulate), it's actually got some bite to it.

One of the interesting things about Blade & Soul is that it has had a good long iteration pass, being released in other markets before coming here. While the verdict is still out on how well the NA/EU/English audience will receive the game, I can say that first impressions amongst players that I know has been posistive, with highlights being the fluid combat animations and the skill system, while the biggest complaints were queues and server times. Personally, I've enjoyed my entire head start access time and as it's free, no harm in playing.

Anyway, the game is now live, so if you haven't logged in yet or downloaded it, what are you waiting for?
