The rumour mill has been swirling around a hinted at Destiny expansion planned for September and it appears the rumors were correct. The Taken King will be released on September 15th and will reportedly include new sub classes for each of the three guardians as well as new strikes, new crucible maps, and an all new raid. The expansion will run at an increased cost of $40, which seems a little steep when it looks like the sub- classes are the only other addition to what we've been getting for $20.

Bungie has said that they will be attending E3, so we can probably expect to hear more about the expansion then.
