At the rate it was going it was only a matter of time. The prize pool for the 2015 Dota 2 International has breached the 12 million mark and is still climbing at a steady rate. The previous record of 10.7 million set last year seemed like a tall order to topple, but with the momentum the fund raising has now, even the ultimate stretch goal of 14 million seems quite possible.

If the Compendium sales do reach the 14 million mark, purchasers will receive all new weather effects for the Dota 2 map. Previous reward landmarks included a new desert map texture at 11 million and new music for the game at 12 million.
