The said last years Compendium would be hard to beat but they were wrong. In a neverending wave of Compendium purchases, the Internationals Prize pool has breached the 15 million mark and thus become the largest prize pool in eSports history.

For reaching the new goal, purchasers will receive a new Axe Immortal Item and the guarantee that an Axe - centric long form comic will be made. This is the final stretch goal listed on the Compendium page, but we can't help but think that the massive sucess of the fund raising so far may lead to new goals being added. 

There is still about a month to go before the International takes place, and while the frequency of purchases has noticably slowed down that could probably be reinvigorated with the addition of another reward. Regardless of whether they add more stretch goals or not, there's no denying that this years compendium has been a massive sucess, which is a testament to Dota 2's present and increasing popularity.
