The start of open beta for an MMO is always cause for celebration, and that’s exactly what the folks at Aeria Games are no doubt doing today as Echo of Soul officially enters its open beta. Players interested in participating should be sure to visit the official site for Echo of Soul where you can sign up and download the game.

The closed beta which recently wrapped up has proven to be quite successful. According to the official announcement, during the three week CBT period players collectively spent 860,000 hours in-game, cleared 450,000 dungeons, and completed over 21 million quests. That’s one heck of a lot of quests!

"We are thrilled to kick off this critical phase in the development of Echo of Soul and get all interested MMO gamers into the Open Beta so they can start this new adventure with their friends and fellow players," says Tom Nichols, Vice President of PC Games at Aeria Games. "Echo of Soul has unparalleled PvP and PvE gameplay possibilities - we can't wait for everyone to jump in and start playing!"

A brand-new trailer has also been released that takes a tour through Echo of Soul’s massive landscapes, and can be viewed in all its glory below:
