Sony Online Entertainment fans will have plenty to keep them busy on December 6th, 2011. Not only will the DC Universe Online Lightning Strikes DLC be launching, but EverQuest II will also make the jump to full free-to-play, get a revamp of the city of Freeport and launch its latest expansion, Age of Discovery.

EVERQUEST II will be going free-to-play! Along with a brand new membership system, available free content will include the new Freeport Reborn game update, unveiling a completely revamped Freeport city and exciting new quests. EQII fans will also have the chance to purchase the game's eighth overall expansion -- Age of Discovery -- which introduces the Dungeon Maker feature and the return of the franchise-favorite Beastlord class.
