In case you might have missed it, EverQuest Next's latest ebook Dreaming in Shadow has arrived and it's probably the most potent read thus far. For those who have been following the stories over the past year, this is a sorely needed addition to the history of this new Norrath, especially for the Teir'Dal.

If you haven't read any of the stories, I highly suggest starting from the chronological beginning with No Poetry in Death. From there you can move on down the line with the following recommended reading order:

The Razor's Edge
The Stars of Home
Prison of Fire
Rise of the Ring
Enemy of my Enemy
The Mage of the Teir'Dal
The Arch Mage (Part 1 & 2)
Fall of Bastion
The Last Stand of the Teir'Dal

That will catch you up to the latest and most recent book that caps off a conclusion to the cliffhanger from the end of The Last Stand of the Teir'Dal with Keramore Thex and his loyal elite. It's quite a compelling narrative and paints a very intriguing picture for the setting of EverQuest Next, whether you're completely new to the franchise or have been in love with it for years.

If you don't have the time or patience for reading (the books are quite small actually, most of them are 15-20 pages with a handful reaching the 50-60 page length), then go ahead and hop over to our complete EverQuest Next Lore Overview that summarizes and groups all the known lore information in one convenient location.
