Cloud9 Tempest was looking like one of the strongest Challenger teams, seemingly in position to easily contend for a spot in the North American LCS. However, their ban from competing for the remainder of the Spring Split threw a wrench into those plans. With the suspension now over, C9T will look to once again make waves in the Challenger scene. In order to do so, they needed a new Support player, and they felt the skill and experience of former XDG, Coast, and Final Five player Jaime "Sheep" Gallagher was the right fit.

Jamie’s talent and experience were difficult to ignore, and with our roster in need of both a high-caliber support and a veteran player, this move made the most sense. Picking up Sheep is a good first step towards vetting this roster for their impending run towards the NACS and LCS.

- Charlie Lipsie, Cloud9’s LCS head coach

They won't have to wait long to find out how this will work for the team, as they'll be playing in the AlphaDraft Challenger League tonight.

The team's full roster is now:

Top Lane: Colin “Solo” Earnest

Jungle: Anthony “Hard” Barkhovtsev

Mid Lane: David “Yusui” Bloomquist

AD Carry: Benjamin “LOD” deMunck

Support: Jaime "Sheep" Gallagher
