Jacobs went on to explain that whatever was talked about behind the scenes he has no intention of sharing, but it’s clear from some of his statements that the two didn’t see eye to eye on where things should go. Jacobs does insist that the split was civilized and that both parties have had nothing but good things to say about one another.
Jacobs announced his new development studio last week with City State Entertainment that will focus on social gaming, a plan that he ironically had explored before his departure from EA. It's something he is funding himself and hopes to see grow into a successful business.
