The wait is over for the official launch date of Guild Wars 2 and plans to call in sick or take the week off can now be made. ArenaNet and NCsoft today announced that Guild Wars 2 will officially launch on August 28th, 2012.
In addition to today's announcement, the final Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend has been set to take place from July 20th-22nd.

GUILD WARS® 2 LAUNCHES 28TH AUGUST 2012
