Last week, Jonah Marriner of Apocalyptic Armageddon got in touch to inform me about their birthday bash. I have to say, my mind absolutely boggles at the thought of coordinated thousands of players for a birthday of this size. That said, it sounds as though the event is going to be a lot of fun. Taking place at 6pm PST on November 1st (over on NA servers) it will begin in the Black Citadel. The tour will move through every capital city in the game, eventually ending in Rata sum. Alongside this, there will be a variety of games and events such as scavenger hunts, a fashion contest (we all know Guild Wars 2 players will be pleased about this) as well as loads of prizes. 

I think it sounds pretty awesome and I'm definitely going to try to attend. I'm sure I've got an NA account somewhere that I can dust off. If it's one thing that the Guild Wars 2 community does well it's organising a party and whether it's in or out of game (Pink Day in LA or Foostival) they all need supporting by us so that they can continue. Oh and before I forget, there's also going to be plenty of music played using a variety of the instruments available in game!
