If you were one of the palyers miffed by the double XP weekend ending a day early last week, Blizzard heard you and is bringing back the levelling frenzy for an entire new weekend. The 100% bonus XP will become available at 1:00pm PDT on Thursday, July 2nd for the Americas and 1:00pm locale time for the remainder of the world servers.The event will run the entireity of the weekend, with the festivities coming to a close on Monday July 6th at 1:00pm.

The double XP weekend is a great way for new players to play catchup on those who have had their hands on the game for a while now. It's also a good time to purchase new heroes that can then be levelled very quickly, unlocking access to their top tier abilities. If you're in need of some gold you may want to play some heroes you haven't levelled yet. Levelling each hero to lvl 5 will net you a cool 500 gold which can be sued to unlock more heroes and repeat the process!
