In the 2015 EU LCS Spring Split, Gambit Gaming's starting AD Carry was Kristoffer "P1noy" Pedersen. After the split, Gambit looked to upgrade their League of Legends squad, bringing in star player Konstantinos "Forg1ven" Tzortziou. Unfortunately, that didn't help the team avoid having to play in the promotion tournament to try to earn back their LCS spot.

Making matters worse, Forg1ven was suspended before the last week of the LCS regular season due to toxicity and inappropriate behavior in-game. The 4 game suspension will carry over into the promotion tournament, and rather than splitting practice time between two players, Gambit has decided that P1noy will be their starting AD Carry for the full series against mousesports.

The plans of both the team, and Forg1ven, after this series are still unknown. The player himself has actually stated he may consider moving over to the Heroes of the Storm professional scene, particularly if he does not receive any offers he likes to continue playing League of Legends. P1noy is currently the starting AD Carry for North American Challenger team Winterfox, so what this will mean for him moving forward is still unclear.
