Minecraft’s massive 1.7 update is expected to release this Friday, but you can get the pre-release version now if you’re impatient. The massive update, which has been dubbed “The Update that Changed the World,” changes over half a million lines of code to prepare for the upcoming API plug-in, doubles the amount of biomes, adds two new block types, fishing, multiplayer enhancements, chat improvements, and much more.

You can read the patch notes for a full rundown. If all goes as planned, the full release should available this Friday.
