One of the more popular characters since the games first announcement trailer has been Winston the talking ape in a high tech battle suit. The time has finally arrived that we get to see the not so gentle giant in action, as Blizzard has released a short gameplay preview that gives use a good look at his abilities on one of the games Payload maps "Gibraltar".

Like many of the other characters int he game, Winston comes equipped with a jet pack that he uses to quickly get himself close enough to unleash his tesla cannon. When things get tough Winston can deploy his bubble shield, which protects any friendlys inside it from enemy fire while allowing them to shoot out of it.

Winston's ultimate ability is Primal Rage. Activiting Primal Rage will send Winston into a frenzy, giving him increased health, attack damage, and reducing the cooldown on his jetpack. All of Winstons ranged attacks will also become melee attacks, albeit very powerful ones.
