Petroglyph’s Kickstarter for Victory has ended in a premature defeat. Less than two weeks in, Petroglyph announced that it was pulling the plug the Victory Kickstarter. While no reason was given as to why, the writing may have been on the wall since the campaign had only managed to crack the surface of its intended $700,000 Kickstarter goal by mustering only $29,471 in pledges.

But there may yet be some hope for fans as according to Petroglyph’s message, several publishers have expressed interest in the title.

"We’ve listened carefully to what the Kickstarter community has said, and it has given us many ideas of games we could do in the future. Additionally, multiple game publishers have expressed interest in Victory, based on your support, and we hope to still bring Victory to you with their help," Petroglyph wrote.
