This in from the WoW beta forum, a reminder about the upcoming skill changes.

To better match the design goals for World of Warcraft, characters will be able to be trained in a maximum of 2 "professions" at the same time. What this means is that characters that currently have more than 2 of the following trade skills will have trade skills randomly removed by the upcoming patch until they are left with 2 remaining professions: mining, herbalism, skinning, alchemy, blacksmithing, tailoring, leatherworking, engineering, and/or enchanting.

To avoid having any of your trade skills/professions randomly removed, we advise that, prior to the next patch, you select the 2 trade skills you would like to keep and manually unlearn the rest. To unlearn a trade skill, open your Skills window, select the trade skill you wish to unlearn, and click the Unlearn button that appears to the right of the skill. If you do not do this and your characters have more than 2 of the above-listed trade skills when the patch goes live, then it's very possible that you will lose trade skills that you might have wanted to keep and be left with 2 that you might not want.

Please note that the upcoming trade-skill deletion does not affect cooking, fishing, and first aid, which do not count toward the 2-profession limit.
