The Challenger Series playoffs came to a conclusion yesterday, and with that, two new teams have earned their way into the LCS. In North America, LA Renegades will be taking the spot of Team Dragon Knights, will Team Dignitas EU will be replacing the Copenhagen Wolves. Both best of 5 finals went down to the wire, as Team Coast and mousesports both put up a good fight.

Each of these two new LCS teams have questions to answer. For Renegades, Support player Maria "Remilia" Creveling seems unlikely to play in the LCS, while AD player Ainslie "Maplestreet" Wyllie was originally intended to be a sub. The team will have to decide whether they want to keep Maplestreet in a starting role moving forward (a question that may have been made easier by his strong performance in the finals,) and will almost certainly need to find a new Support in the near future. There is no question that team owner Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles will do whatever he can for his players, but some tough decisions loom.

For Team Dignitas EU, they are not required to make any roster decisions, as they seem set to enter the 2016 LCS Spring Split with their current players. However, due to the rule that an organization cannot own more than one team in any major league, the team will not be able to be under the Dignitas banner when they do join the LCS. While the players themselves won't have to worry about this process, there's no telling how new ownership might affect the team as a whole.

For now, though, there's no need to worry about any of these concerns. Say hello to your newest LCS teams!
