It's no doubt that Hi-Rez knows its community, after the huge (and amazingly awesome) SMITE World Championship, which was streamed live for free, and their commitment to 24/7 streaming content, it doesn't come as a surprise the latest tournament is essentially stream only. No tickets are on sale, but Ten Ton Hammer has gotten special access to attend live, which gives you our readers the inside scoop to this interesting and charitable event. It's a combination of two days of charity streaming and two days of serious eSports action for the SMITE Pro League spring tournament.

Woah, charity? That's right, this event is all about the charity. There is going to be lots of things for watchers to vote for with their donations to charity. Those who remember, Hi-Rez delivered a huge check to the Red Cross at the SMITE World Championship and this time around they're taking donations for various mini-games that will occur on their stream, with casters reading off what these donations mean to everyone ($10 and up). So far on the list is donating to name teams for the 3v3, who goes in the dunk tank, and more. To encourage donations there is even stretch goals for various reveals.

These are the events where donations determine an outcome:

  • Donate to name teams in the 3v3 Tournaments
  • Donate to who participates in the Mystery Box
  • Donate to blindfold someone during the Egg Toss
  • Donate to put someone in the Dunk Tank
  • Donate to who and what god you want to play in the 1v1 tournament
  • Donate what you want players to draw in Draw the God.

These are the stretch goals:

  • $1,000 – Five 400 gem code giveaway in Twitch chat
  • $2,500 – Ten 400 gem code giveaway in Twitch chat
  • $5,000 – Ten 800 gem giveaway in Twitch chat
  • $7,500 – Five Godpack giveaway in Twitch chat
  • $10,000 – God Skin concept reveal
  • $15,000 – God Remodel concept reveal
  • $20,000 – Map update reveal

In addition to the fun Thursday and Friday, there will be a tournament hosted at Hi-Rez on Saturday and Sunday, the Spring Finals. It's going to feature AFK Gaming, Trig eSports, Team Solo Mid, and Fnatic fighting to win a $20,000 grand prize and a trip to São Paulo, Brazil. These events will be broadcasted live on SMITE's Twitch Stream and should be very entertaining to watch.

Ten Ton Hammer will be on the ground during the events on all four days. If you have any questions or want a first hand look, tweet @orangekun, and we'll be glad to let you know what's going on.
