Star Trek Online kicked off its open beta phase today and as you might have expected there have been a few hiccups. Currently, there is a "map is full" issue preventing many players from making it into the game, but Cryptic is looking into the issue and with any luck will have it resolved soon. For now, those plans to engage the warp engines might be temporarily on hold as you may or may not make it into the game.
