Time in a Bottle, the latest Star Trek Online update, is now live. It contains some additional missions and content which advance the in-game story further. These feature episodes are really awesome for the community, who enjoy seeing how the game plays out and some of the voice actors returning from shows like Deep Space 9 (this content has voice actor Aron Eisenberg reprising his role as Nog, from DS9). This is literally a single mission in the game, but STO does missions a bit differently... for instance, you won't finish this quest in less than half an hour, probably more along an hour, and it has significant rewards, including a ferengi duty officer and an awesome ferengi dance.

Here are the listed rewards for the mission:

Each week we’ll be rolling out an additional reward for the Featured Episode “Time in a Bottle." This week’s reward is the Chroniton Split Beam Rifle. In addition, the first completion of “Time in a Bottle” on an account this week will grant a Featured Episode Weekly Reward box. The weekly reward box gives your choice of an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade or a Captain Specialization Point, which gives the character who opens the box a Specialization Point. The weekly reward box, tech upgrade, and specialization point box are all Bound to Account, and may be freely traded between your characters. The Specialization Point box requires the opening character to be level 50 or above. Finally, the first completion of “Time in a Bottle” will unlock the Dance (Ferengi) emote. This dance can be performed through the Emotes menu, or using the command /emote Dance_Ferengi.

The fun starts on Drozana Station when you're ready to hop in and play. Star Trek Online is a mix between space combat and ground combat in the Star Trek universe and is currently free-to-play. You can read more about the content update and how to play Star Trek Online here.
