Troy Online has just one beta test phase left before its official launch and it will be the open beta. Troy Online's open beta will kick off on August 12th for seven days of testing and culminate with the game's commercial launch on August 19th, 2011. Existing beta players will still need to download the new client to take part in the open beta.

Troy Online is based on the Trojan War, but with a twist, the game takes place in an alternate timeline dimension where players are sent to continue the Trojan War after the Greek gods are dissatisfied with the original victory.
