A little while back, it was announced that Team SoloMid was trying out Yuri "KEITH" Jew for the AD Carry position on their League of Legends team. This decision was made due to a lackluster split from incumbent Jason "WildTurtle" Tran, and some tougher-than-expected games for the team. KEITH had played well for Team Liquid during the Spring Split, and TSM was willing to give him a chance to prove himself.

Ultimately, KEITH did not perform well enough to unseat WildTurtle, but the process was still a win for TSM. According to head coach Locodoco, just having the competition really helped Turtle to step up and perform better. This sentiment was echoed by Turtle himself, who stated that having the competition, and watching KEITH play, really helped him learn and inspired him. Team owner Andy Dinh stated that they have decided to use WildTurtle going forward, as they believe this decision gives the team the best chance to perform well in playoffs, and ideally at Worlds.

As for Jew, he states that he's unlikely to seek further opportunities to play professionally, even though he believes that he could be LCS-caliber with enough practice. He's already enrolled in school, and believes that his best course of action at this point is focus on school and just be a "normal student."

With this decision, it appears no change will be made to TSM's roster prior to playoffs. This signals that the team believes their recent struggles can be resolved internally, and they're confident they'll be ready to go in time for playoffs.
