Mythic Studio Executive Producer Jeff Hickman has posted a public apology to players that were affected by the recent billing issues surrounding Warhammer Online and Dark Age of Camelot. In his letter, Hickman explains a little more about the billing error which ended up slapping some people with subscription charges in excess of $400 and a slew of overdraft fees. The good news is that Mythic believes a majority of the issues have been resolved and most of the bank overdraft fees have been reversed. For the few banks that did not reverse the charges, EA is picking up the tab. In an effort to make things up to players the Warhammer Online and Dark Age of Camelot communities will be receiving a little compensation.

Warhammer Online players will earn 100% bonus experience for the next two weeks. In addition, players affected by the billing issues will receive two tokens for each of their characters. These tokens can be used at a special vendor that only accepts these tokens for one of the following items.

• Bottomless Chaos Black Dye
• Bottomless Skull White Dye
• Imperial Griffon Mount (Order)
• Enslaved Manticore Mount (Destruction)
• WAR Tract – earn a free level
• Choose from any of these pets – Order: Imperial Hunting Hound or Dwarf Keg Handler; Destruction: Warlord’s Fell Hound or the Goblin Bar-Back.
• Change your appearance with any of these illusion items: Skaven Skin Cloak (skaven), Kossar’s Helm (bear), or the Signet of the Cursed Company (skeleton)

Dark Age of Camelot players will receive a similar benefit. For the next two weeks, players will also be able to earn 100% bonus experience, bounty, and realm points when killing enemies and monsters. In addition, players affected from the billing issues will also receive tokens for use at a special vendor for one of the following items.

• Bottomless Black Dye
• Bottomless Crimson Dye (Albion), Hunter Green Dye (Hibernia), and Royal Blue Dye (Midgard)
• A selection of rare mounts: The Fire Steed, Clockwork Steed, and Storm Steed
• Choose from any of these pets - Clockwork Cat, a Mini-Dragon, and a pet of your realm.
• Vegas Round Table Trophy
• The Old Dragon Head Trophies of Smoldering Golestandt (Albion), Frozen Gjalpinulva (Midgard), and Glimmering Culldurach (Hibernia)

Hickman ensures the community that they have discovered the cause of the problem and new measures have been in place since April 13th to ensure it does not happen again.
