After a short delay, World of Warplanes officially launches today. Wargaming pushed back the official release back in September to provide a little extra time to polish the game’s content for a “richer, more immersive multiplayer experience

As of launch, World of Warplanes currently features five nations (USA, USSR, Germany, Britain, and Japan) for players to choose from and over 100 warplanes. The release also marks the launch of Wargaming’s Unified Premium Account Services, which allows players to share Premium Account access for World of Warplanes and World of Tanks as well as the upcoming World of Warships.

In addition to today's launch, Wargaming is holding a "First to the Top" event with an assortment of prizes for players, including a 10-year Premium Account.

You can sign up to play for free on the World of Warplanes website.
