Looking to farm achievements and don't want to solo a dungeon or want more variety in the dungeon finder when you're trying to level a new toon past 71? Well Timewalking has your name written all over it. This short weekend event is going to come and go and let players play older content by having their level lowered. This is similar to FFXIV's system where you can replay older dungeons as much as you want and even get high level rewards for it, but your character is only as powerful as the dungeon max. Anyway, they've gone over how to play The Arcatraz. Here's their guide, and while we haven't visited our guide in awhile, there isn't much different, so check out our guide as well.

Here are the details about Timewalking, from Blizzard:

In World of Warcraft Patch 6.2, we're introducing a new series of seven different weekend events, and two of the seven weekends will make Timewalking Dungeons available to characters at level 71 and higher for Outland dungeons or 81 and higher for Northrend dungeons. When you Timewalk these dungeons, you’ll find that your character’s power and gear has been scaled down to a fraction of what they normally are, and you may have never ventured into some (or all) of them, so it's a good idea to prepare yourself now.

I think the biggest benefit is new players who are leveling and need dungeon partners. It has become harder and harder to find someone to run dungeons with you through the dungeon finder, considering most players just have a friend run them through these dungeons for the quests, though to be honest where is the fun in that? So hopefully the ritual of grinding dungeons until your eyes bleed can remain as you level up through the game, in proper WoW tradition. Although, I am being a bit dishonest, I do enjoy getting ran through dungeons as much as the next person. There is only so much TBC dungeons I can play in a lifetime.

How many dungeons can you run before your eyes bleed? Let us know in the comments section below. For me, my eyes start bleeding at the sight of any TBC dungeon. They're kind of bleeding right now from even remembering them.
