More and more Cataclysm information is trickling out every day and that's to say nothing of the game that we are playing day to day already! Let's get caught up on some of the changes and new information made available by Blizzard these last few days.

The Icecrown Citadel raidwide buff has an additional stack bringing the total to 20%, the number of attempts has been increased to 50 on heroics as well. The total buff will eventually reach 30% some time in July, but 50 may end up being the attempt cap based on the precedent set in Trial of the Grand Crusader.

Update 5.25.10

We have increased the potency of the Strength of Wrynn and HellscreamÂ’s Warsong buffs in Icecrown Citadel by an additional 5%. These buffs now increase total health, healing done and damage dealt by 20%. In addition, the number of attempts allotted for all final bosses on Heroic difficulty has been increased to 50.

Ghostcrawler, making what amounts these days to a rare appearance, deigned to comment on a thread about Assassination Rogues in Cataclysm and confirmed something that was already widely speculated. Hunger for Blood will no longer exist in Cataclysm, paving the way for a new 51 point Assassination talent. The talent had been nerfed into the ground and is generally considered to be a bland and boring mechanic.

GC's response was concise:

It's going away for Cataclysm.

Finally, some new Cataclysm screenshots have been added to the gallery. These seem to be shots from zones that we've already seen. It's not surprising, but hopefully they'll open up the beta soon so that we can see more than some recycled screenshots!
