    The official site for Lord of the Rings Online has posted the newest edition of Exploring Middle-earth.

    Now, the Hillmen have become nomads, wandering the frozen wastes and hills of Angmar, content to hunt the great herds of aurochs, unconcerned with the doings of the strange folk who dwell in stone cities. Yet the clans still recognize the need to maintain relations with each other, in order to avert bloodshed as one clan infringes on the territory of another.

  • Invite a Friend Bug Has Been Resolved

    Another note on the official site for Dreamlords brings us news that a malfunction with the invite a friend program has been fixed.

    We found a bug in our invite-a-friend system that had the effect that some invite e-mails was sent to the person that sent the invitation and not to the person they wanted to invite. This issue has been resolved.

    The invitations that was mailed to the wrong address are still valid though . Just forward those mails to your friends and they will be able to use the included key.

  • New pricing for recurring payments in effect!

    The official site for Dreamlords has posted an announcement on their new pricing. Keep reading for more details.

    Today we are lowering all prices for recurring payments, meaning that subscriptions will become cheaper. There are several reasons for this price adjustment.

    First of all, you players have been doing so well that we have not yet been able to finalize some of the features that we wanted to go live at the era restart. Therefore we believe that a lower price is in order. But don’t be upset! We will finalize them as soon as possible and then release them during the era.

    The official site for Vanguard: Saga of Heroes has a note about a new contest. You can help test out Fellowships on the test server and win a chance at a title of your choosing!

    The fellowship system is now on the Test Server and we would like to invite players to come break it for us. In fact, for the first three reproducible bugs sent to testing@sigilgames.com, the submitting player will get to choose a title for their character on a LIVE server. Chosen titles must be appropriate and in accordance to the naming policy, of course, but other than that – it is all up to you!

    The Camelot Herald has posted the latest hotfix notes on their site today.

    Oh me, oh my, what do I spy? A hot fix, of course!

    - The granite giant raiders, drakulv raiders, and glimmer raiders will now drop coin, loot, and grant XP when killed.

    - Various merchants in Huginfel can no longer engage in combat.

    - The Quests Old Stone, Living Wood, Cleansing with Light, Dousing the Flames, and Melting the Ice are now offered through dialogue and can be removed.

  • Penny Arcade Announces PAX 2007 Keynote Speaker

    A press release was sent out to announce the Keynote speaker, Omegathon Prize, and Headlining Band for this year's PAX.

    Providing the PAX 2007 keynote address will be writer, actor and geek icon Wil Wheaton. Best known for his role as Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Wheaton has gone on to appear in a number of films and become a prolific writer.
