Yes, we’re well on the annual Road to BlizzCon. In just under two months, the great and the good will be assembling in Anaheim to hopefully reveal the next World of Warcraft expansion. Not going? Well fret not as Blizzard has today opened up sales for the infamous Virtual Ticket.

Costing just $39.99/£24.99/€29.99, the ticket is actually better than being there. There’s access to the shop, livestreams of all the panels (where you get the best seat in the house), interviews and random DirecTV prattle as they wander the floor. Oh and, of course, there’s the in-game pet which this year looks to be the Diablo-themed Murkablo.

Tickets remain on sale until BlizzCon which gives you plenty of time to order. Personally, I’ve used them for the last three years to report on BlizzCon and - for me at least - it’s an invaluable resource just for the ability to play back specific panels or rewatch the cinematics. Heck, even if I was going to BlizzCon, I’d still get the stream. So if planes aren’t your thing, or queues and you want to experience the awesomeness of BlizzCon without being there, go forth and order now!
