Square Enix annouces new C.E.O. Claims that this is his final fantasy still unconfirmed.
Square Enix has announced Daishiro Okada as their new C.E.O. Leo Laporte says, "Don't cry. Don't mope. Just pick up the phone and say":

"Square Enix announced today it has appointed Daishiro Okada as
President and Chief Executive Officer. Okada, who joined Square Enix in
January 2005 as a Senior Executive, will lead the publisher and
developer in expanding its North American business. He will also serve
on the company's board of directors."
