You don't have to be an olda man, but it's best to be level 44-50 to visit this WoW instanced dungeon!
It’s old, creepy, and filled with nasty Troggs (and even dwarves made of stone) but at last we have a guide for daring adventurers! With information on the Instance, quests, and tactics, the Uldaman guide will be a useful asset for those looking to run Uldaman. Uldaman itself is a mid leveled World of Warcraft Instance that is the home of the Titans (the shapers of the WoW world) and one of three Instances that they have setup across the world.
" Since it a fairly long Instance to run through, and there are various quests and special mobs to kill, it is obvious that there are certain tactics that need to be followed in order to succeed in the Uldaman.
The MOBs in Uldaman range from 37-45 elite and are generally found in groups of 4-5, with the occasional group of 5 or even 6. You will note that the levels of the MOBS increase dynamically as you go further into the Instance.
Being a level 44-50 instance, with the MOBs being 37-46 elite you will HAVE to work together as a team, especially if you are at the low end of the level scale. Most players in the correct level range will not be able to handle an elite MOB of their level or higher on their own. The best tactic to deal with this is to designate a single player to pull MOBs and be careful to not pull anything other than what is planned. If you are the puller always plan the pull carefully. This means, watching for patrols, movement of MOBs, and party health and mana. If you do these things even a party of all 45-47 characters stands an excellent chance at finishing the instance. "
