What is a "pile on" you ask? Well first, we think it's important you should know that it is legal in most states. A pile on is a feature over at Gamespy where they get the thoughts of a number of editors and writers regarding a game. So you won't see the singular mindset of an individual reviewer but a compilation of four examining combat, crafting, and a lot more.
That being said, I think it's important that we touch on one of my favorite aspects of Tabula Rasa, and that's the ease with which you can get into the fun of just going out and fighting stuff, without wasting oodles of time traveling or forming a party. Within seconds of logging in, you can teleport to a zone that's appropriate to your level range, and just start finding things to kill. There's always action to be found, and it's never hard to get sucked in. You're rewarded for keeping up a manic pace by the bonus XP system for kill streaks, so it's easy to find yourself frantically running from enemy to enemy, trying to get a shot in before your bonus XP status disappears.
With so much input, this is one of the better reviews I've seen and well worth the read.
