Forum Poll: Do Industry Lawsuits Shake Your Faith in Developers?

Posted December 11th, 2007 by Shayalyn

Business dealings worthy of the Ferengi?

By now you may have read our exclusive bit of industry news--Kohnke Communications, a public relations firm for the gaming industry, is suing Perpetual Entertainment, accusing them of fraud and breach of contract. Read the complete story to get all the facts. You might also check out our discussion thread related to the story.

My question is this: do lawsuits affect your interest in a game? Perpetual is developing the game based on a spectacular IP--Star Trek Online. Does having read the details of the lawsuit shake your faith in Perpetual's ability to build a solid game? Or are you willing to consider that there are two sides to every story and there are a lot of unknown factors?
