In the field, having the proper tools and equipment can mean the difference between beating back a Bane offensive, or the walk of shame from the nearest respawn point. The AFS high command has recently begun providing additional consumable equipment to soldiers of any class, which will allow not only create greater functionality in the field but could save lives. We now have the option of a number of items available from vendors which are one time but worthwhile. We're going to walk through what's been added, how to use it, and where to get it.

Adrenaline Boosters

Instantly adds up to 100% Adrenaline. Cooldown is 5 minutes. If you are Level X or higher, the amount of adrenaline is diminished per level.

This will boost your adrenaline all the way to 100% allowing the use of your signature abilities. There are different levels or "class" types of the device meaning a Class V is only fully effective until level 30 and you'll see diminishing returns. You'll notice a marked price increase as you progress in levels so this isn't something you'll want to utilize unless you are really in a bind. You can find these available at any medical vendor.

Armor Charger

Recharges X armor over 10 seconds, with a 30 second cool down.

Is your health getting pulled apart? Need a quick fix to your armor? This is a great way. There are different levels or "class" types of the device meaning a Class IV in this instance will add 1850 where as a Class V would offer more. That doesn't mean you can go out and stock up on Class VII, there is a level requirement in place similar to other things like EMP bombs. These are pretty stinking expensive translating into about a credit for every 2 points of armor but in a pinch, worth every single credit. These are available at all armor and medical vendors.

Power Charger

Recharges X power over 5 seconds, with a 1 minute cooldown.

This is a great item to have with power intensive skills. Perhaps you are a Medic or just feel like dropping some more Lightning to various targets around you. There are different levels or "class" types of the device meaning a Class IV in this instance will add 150 power where a Class V would offer 175. Make sure to note the level requirement on them, so this means you won't be able to buy superior chargers until you reach the appropriate level. You can purchase these at any armor or medical vendor.

Wormholes

Wormholes provide players with the ability to use the fast access waypoint network from any point in the game by opening a temporary wormhole. The benefit of this technology is readily apparent in being able to remove a player from the battlefield or saving a long run back to a safe point. These can be purchased from the medical vendor but come in three different versions to fit whatever circumstance you may be in.

One-Way Personal Waypoint - A portable waypoint. Works only for the person who deploys it. Allows one-way access to the local waypoint network. Duration is 5 minutes normally, but indefinite in Operations zones.

This is a great thing to have handy for when you are done playing for a bit but don't feel like logging back in to a Bane invasion.

Two-Way Personal Waypoint - A portable waypoint. Works only for the person who deploys it. Allows two-way access to the local waypoint network. Duration is 5 minutes normally, but indefinite in Operations zones.

Maybe your gear is busted or your inventory full and all you need is just 2 minutes at a vendor. Drop down a wormhole and head back to safety, then return within the time limit and get right back to the action.

Portable Waypoint - A portable waypoint. Works only for the entire squad of the person who deploys it. Allows two-way access to the local waypoint network. Duration is 5 minutes normally, but indefinite in Operations zones.

This is just what you need when in a full squad of folks and need to head back for repairs. Why be selfish? Share with your friends!

We hope this has been useful for you. If there is any other information about consumables you think we missed or can provide please email me (you'll get full credit) or stop by our forums to discuss it.
