Remember that the ingame New Years party starts New
Years Eve (December
31st) and lasts through New Years (Janurary 1st). A quick run down of
the event: free booze for everyone in many cities, fireworks launch
every hour after the sun sets in the major cities, and the guards in
Booty Bay go to sleep meaning that it's an open PvP zone. To enjoy the
free booze just grab a cup from somewhere like Stormwind, fill it up at
a keg, and then drink, drink, drink!
