Interview With Vanguard Producer, Thom Terrazas - Part 4: The Ancient Port Warehouse Riftway

Posted January 17th, 2008 by Shayalyn

It's a very big warehouse. Here's how you get around it!

Today marks the last part of our Vanguard community site's interviews with Thom Terrazas, Producer of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Thom took some time out of his busy schedule to answer four sets of questions. The final interview focuses on the recently added raid zone, the Ancient Port Warehouse, and the riftway system that helps raids travel from one part of this enormous, mob-filled area to another.

There's often a delay, sometimes significant, between the time we send questions to a developer and the time they're finally available to answer. This set of questions shows its age a bit, since the Ancient Port Warehouse is now live, but there are still some golden nuggets to be gleaned from it, especially for those players that have still not seen the wonders of the APW!

Only one portal is directly next to a boss, and this portal actually deactivates when the boss is engaged.
