If you're into horror, you should check out this special report by CVG. Apparently, Funcom's latest MMOG will be loosely based on the horror classic "The Ring."

In an interview with PC Zone magazine, it reveals that classic Japanese horror movie The Ring is a major inspiration for the project.

"The setting for The Secret World is actually our own world... But there is something out there, another world beyond our own", product manager Erling Ellingson has explained.
