I came across this really well done article over at www.worldofwar.net today, written by Dark Knight. He is a long time player that has written many journals at worldofwar.net that has decided to quit WoW. After a little more than a year he decided that he had enough and it was time to leave.

Did he leave with a rant on how bad the game was? How Blizzard ignored him? No, he chose to leave due to the time sunk into the game and the sacrifices he found he was making in his real life for a "game".

He makes some very intelligent comments in the article and even if you have no desire to quit, the article is still worth checking out. You can find it here: Quitting by Dark Knight.
