The Scourge are attacking! How do we drive them back?

At WoW Vault, there has been a very good walkthrough posted on how to defeat the floating Necropoli that are starting to spawn in certain zones of Azeroth! So once you have got the patch up and running, take a little time to read this guide on how to take the fight to the horrors of the Scourge, gather a group, and cleanse Azeroth of the vile undead!

We don't know the frequency of invasions (may be in the patch notes) but you can see WHERE they are by zooming out of your maps. Zones being invaded show a "Skull" on your map, as indicated in the screenshot below.
