How-To Gain Reputation

Looking for more detailed guides? Return to our Reputation portal.

A question you may often find yourself asking is how exactly do you gain reputation with a certain faction? There is no blanket answer, each faction has different ways for you to gain reputation with them and each one is unique. It may involve doing quests, turn-ins, killing enemies, running instances, or many other things. Many factions span multiple cities meaning that there are tons of ways to gain reputation with them. You just have to know where to look.

That is where this guide comes in. While not as exact as our in-depth reputation guides it can point you in the right direction. When the guide says “Various” rewards then there is usually too many things to list. Often times the faction will have a “Reputation Vendor” who will sell various items whenever you reach a certain reputation point. You can see the rewards at any time by going to that vendor.
