Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa Patch 1.5 has caused a little bit of havoc on the live servers. Players experiencing the video card/screen resolution bug can implement a quick work around until the issue is hotfixed. A few quick edits to the client.cfg file should clear things right up.
To edit the client.cfg file, make sure Tabula Rasa isnt running. Go to the install directory (default is C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Tabula Rasa). Open the client.cfg file in Word Pad or your favorite text file editor. Find the following line and be sure to set its value to False:
Client.Graphics.FullScreen = False
