Phase 2 - Recovering the Sun's Reach Armory

Having recovered some ground into the Harbor, more Shattered Sun Offensive soldiers will secure a building just southeast of the first questgivers. This will lead you to the next two quests for the day, advancing the plot and giving the offensive the chance to mount an attack and recover the Sun's Reach Armory - the place you will need to unlock as a server in order to buy the new Heroic Badge Loot.

- Quest: The Battle for Sun's Reach Armory

In this new building, you will be asked to travel to the Legion's Portal and its surroundings within the Armory by Harbinger Inuuro. You will recall visiting this zone before in order to use the portal to go to meet the Magistrix at the throne of Kil'jaeden in Hellfire Peninsula. Your objective here is simple - kill 6 demons and impale the Emissary of Hate with the Shattered Sun Offensive's flag you will be given. Simply travel down and kill the Infernals and Helions in the area.

When you're done, you will need to seek out the Emissary of Hate, typically seen at the portal, but often dead because others may have killed him before you. Once you find his corpse, simply right-click your flag to use it and complete this objective. If he's alive, just dispatch him, as he's not even stronger than the other demons you've faced so far. Quest complete! you will receive 250 Shattered Sun Offensive reputation and 10 gold for this quest.

- Quest: Distraction at the Dead Scar

At the very same building, you will be asked for another Quest, this one will ask of you to go bomb the demon army at the Dead Scar, led by Brutallus the Pit Lord. This is your chance to see the 25-man boss up-close!

For this Quest, it is recommended that you bind your Arcane Charges to a key you can spam. This quest is much like the ones you did back in Hellfire Peninsula, you will simply bomb monsters on a set flightpath you take no damage in. However, some will take 2 or 3 hits to die, so spamming your bombing key is preferable.

To begin this Quest, simply head on over to where you came in flying, and the NPC beside the Flight Master is the one you seek. Talk to him and he will send you on your way. Enjoy the new music as it's one of the faster, orchestrated pieces of the Sunwell Soundtrack and a very enjoyable track overall! Once you reach the Dead Scar, your objectives will be to kill:

2 Pit Overlords

3 Eredar Sorcerers

12 Wrath Enforcers

Wrath Enforcers are found everywhere fighting ghouls and they're easy to kill in 1 bomb, this should be no problem. Eredar Sorcerers hang out in the Terraces, casting their spells, so keep your eyes up and bomb these as soon as possible, 2 hits will kill an Eredar Sorcerer, however, if it's tagged by someone else already, you will not get credit. Finally, Pit Overlords are found near the end of the Dead Scar leading to Brutallus, and there's 2 more right infront of Brutallus himself you may bomb if they're not evading every now and then.

If you failed to kill all the monsters, don't worry, just talk to the NPC again and he will send you once more to fight at the Dead Scar. It only takes a few minutes to finish each bombing run. Once you're done, you will receive 5 gold and 150 Shattered Sun Offensive reputation.

- Quest: Intercepting the Mana Cells

Meanwhile, in Shattrath, you will notice that the Shattered Sun Offensive is doing its efforts to open up a gate so you may teleport easily into Quel'danas right from Adal's room - Exarch Nassun will ask of you to help him create the portal, and once enough people turn the quest in, he will be able to make a portal where you can freely teleport to Quel'danas anytime from Shattrath City!

For this Quest, you will need to head over to Blade's Edge Mountains, to the top area past the mountain spikes. The area you are seeking is called the Bash'ir Landing, you may remember this area if you've done the Ogri'la dailies before. What you must do consists of two parts:

1. Locate a Bash'ir Phasing Device. This will drop from monsters at Bash'ir's Landing, including all Ethereals, even the Unbound ones that look like ghosts. The droprate is not that high, but you only need 1 for you or your whole party, provided you stay alive. The effects this device does do not wear off until you either fly out of range, or die.

2. Obtain 10 smuggled mana cells. Once you're phased out, you will see the world like a mage with invisibility does, all hazy. Very cool! Now, you will need to find the mana cells scattered around the area, typically guarded by a Phase Wyrm. Make sure to avoid getting into trouble PvP-wise, since if you die you will need to locate another Phasing Device. After you've gathered 10, go back to Exarch Nassun and he will reward you with 10 gold, 250 reputation, and a Shattered Sun Supply Bag!

- Quest: Know your Ley Lines

After the server has turned in the Mana-Cell quest enough times, the portal will be activated and a new Quest will surface in the Isle of Quel'danas. Astromancer Darnarian in the same building the other two Questgivers are in will ask of you to go and pick up some readings from a few sources to help him out. He will give you a crystal you must attune to 3 areas in this zone.

- Portal - Simply move to the Legion's Portal and use your Crystal infront of it for the reading

- Naga Shrine - Head southeast to the Greengill Coast and find the Naga Shrine, and use your Crystal there. It is near the area where the Dead Scar begins, and you fly past it while doing your bombing run.

- Bloodcrystal - Head east from the Questgiver toward a large building guarded by Kael'thas's Guards, after clearing them, floating in the middle of the building will be the Bloodcrystal. Use your crystal to finish this quest.

Completing this quest nets you 250 Shattered Sun Offensive reputation, 4 gold, and a teleportation scroll you may use to head back to Shattrath City, one-time use.

This is all you can do during Phase 2 of the Assault on Quel'Danas, in addition to Phase 1's repeatable Quests.
