UGO.com recently had the chance to get a hands on preview of Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures. You can find out wht their take on the game is from this preview as it discusses the world of Hyboria, performance, combat, class archetypes and more.

Hyborian Adventures is a stat-based MMORPG, it's true. However, Funcom has worked hard to give players the closest approximation to active, action-based battles as possible. To be perfectly honest, we didn't go hands-on and, as such, never got a feel for how the combat plays. It certainly looks fluid in motion, but the same old MMO bar is at the bottom of the screen, complete with assignable hotkeys and cooldown timers on special attacks and spells.
