AoC 4 Life Contest Finalists Announced

Posted Sun, Apr 20, 2008 by B. de la Durantaye

The contest was a lot of reading and there were a LOT of great entries. Unfortunately though, we could only pick ten finalists.

Due to an NDA restriction though, we won't be able to announce those top ten right away, as it would mean we're effectively announcing who is in the general beta.

But we don't want to make you wait, so what we've done is we have posted a list of the top twenty entries. Ten of these entries will get access to closed general beta (note that open beta only allows play of the first 13 levels, these keys allow you access to the full game.)

Seven of these entries will get a collector's edition of the game. That's a ~$90 value right there, per winner.

One of these entries will get a signed, framed piece of concept art.

And the grand prize winner will take home a Collector's Edition, signed by Gaute Godager, and a LIFETIME subscription to the game.

Danny "Ralsu" Gourley has already contacted the winners through PM, to let them know whether or not they're in the top ten.

To check out the full list, scroll to the bottom of the AoC 4 Life Contest Page.

Many grats to the finalists. If you are in the top 20, you'll know by now if you've made it to the top 10. If you're in the top 10 you will be contacted later this week to let you know if you've won some of these great prizes.

The high-fantasy setting isn't the only thing that would make Game of Thrones a fantastic story-based MMO.
