"Si-Khu told me a twisted tale of his father's corruption, and gave me a scroll covered in strange runes. I should show this to Arias as soon as possible, to see if it is of use to the Aquilonian spy. He can be found at his camp outside the city, by following the road past the Mitra temple."

Arias tells you of the Mark of Acheron

Talk to Arias outside the city

Arias will be waiting for you outside the city. Leave through the gates, and follow the road south, past Ninus' temple and continue down the road to the south-east. Over the bridge, you'll find Arias.

Speak to Arias and you'll give him Si-Khu's scroll. He'll tell you that Si-Khu's father was cursed with the mark of Acheron on his chest (not unlike the mysterious mark on your chest). This mark is used by Thoth-Amon to posess people. However, he will also tell you there is a medallion to repel these demons.

Arias will suspect Mithrelle, a sorceress of Thoth-Amon who has recently shown up in the area. He'll want to find out what she's up to and request that you make a visit to the volcanic lair to find out. He'll tell you of a slavemaster, Shenti-Aku, who resides near the top of the volcano whom you could investigate.
