THE AWAKENING II

The Fleeing
"Valeria told me to go deeper into the underhalls to find a few fleeing townsfolk, so I can protect them and send them to the surface again, where Valeria will be waiting to take them to safety. I must search the underhalls to find the remaining villagers."

Find the villagers to set them free

Save fleeing villagers

Next up you'll have to free 5 villagers who bolted into the deeper areas of the Underhalls. So, just head down from the wine cellar room and start looking. Note that there are multiple locations these villagers can be found, but we've listed the 6 most common areas.
  • The first is down the stairs from the wine cellar
  • The second is at the other side of the guard room, coming from the wine cellar
  • The third is in the keep dungeons, as soon as you enter from the wine cellar area
  • The fourth is in the uptown sewer - enter from the keep dungeons and he'll be at the back, on the other side of the bridge.
  • The fifth can sometimes be found right by the door in the uptown sewer leading back to the keep dungeon
  • A sixth can be found in the uptown sewer, in the first room on the left coming from the keep dungeon.
The underhalls will be filled with Red Hand though, so be sure to put your game face on before you go trotting in all willy-nilly looking for villagers. While a touch inconvenient, it also makes for some good experience, without the worry of other players stealing your kills. If you have the Day Quest: "The Evil That Men Do," the Red Hand in here do count for quest updates.
