Remove the Barrier - Replace the Scroll Okay, you've caught me. This one is really two quests. But they're so closely intertwined I decided to put them both on one page. Let's get started. Once inside the mansion you'll be confronted with plenty of choices as to which way to go. Head up the stairs on your right or left, and it wouldn't hurt to be in hiding here. You'll likely have to fight your way through the mansion, but if you can skip some battles, why not right? Once at the top of the stairs, dispatch any enemies you see and head right inside the alcove at the top of the stairs. Then follow the natural pathway of the rooms, taking on and dispatching any enemies you come across. They can be tough, but if you're smart by now you're making use of potions and food and you shouldn't have much trouble with these guys. The only issues you might have will be with a few mini-bosses that seem to patrol the mansion. But even they're nothing special when fronted with your might. Eventually you'll come to a glowing red prism. That's what's powering the barrier. Use it (double click or "U") and the barrier will be deactivated. The next quest, "The Mansion of the Wizard" is up next. Fight your way back downstairs, if there are any guards left that is, and then waltz into the back of the mansion to Mithrelle's room. Don't worry, she doesn't bite. She's so doped up on lotus powder that you're not even there in her world. Switch the scrolls by "using" the one on the pedestal, and then head back to Tina. |
