It's that time of year again! FanFest in Iceland is but three months away - book early to avoid the rush of people heading to Iceland in the winter! I keed, I keed, I wish I could make it but the weekend in question is booked.

The 2006 EVE Fanfest is now 3 months out and more details are becoming available. The venue and dates are now confirmed, it's Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th of November and will all take place at the Nordica Hotel.

Both days will start with roundtables followed by presentations, while on Friday the on-site tournament will take place with the Finals being showcased in the evening along with other entertainment and mingling. The main party at the top of the world is held on the Saturday, featuring the Dev band and the usual associated, moderately sane events.

Icelandair is offering Fanfest flight and hotel packages for the weekend, including the Nordica (the venue) and Loftleidir hotels, which are connected with complimentary shuttles. The packages are available from Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Frankfurt, London, Manchester & Glasgow, Amsterdam, Baltimore, Boston, Minneapolis, New York and Orlando. Note, you have to purchase the Fanfest admission seperately through the EVE Online store, which costs the same as last year, 65 USD.
